This template is used to document meeting agendas. The template is comprised of the following key areas:

  • Title block;
  • Attendees list;
  • Agenda items;
  • Actions section;
  • Decisions section;

The title block section lists the specifics of the meeting. It includes:

  • The purpose of the meeting;
  • The meeting number (for recurring meetings);
  • The meeting date and time;
  • The meeting location;
  • The chairperson;

The agenda section lists the items to be discussed at the meeting and sets their expected duration. The description of the agenda items should be kept short and to the point.

The actions section is used to record open and closed actions. Each action has:

  • an identifier;
  • a description;
  • an owner;
  • a due date;

The decisions section is used for recording decisions made during the meeting. Each decision has:

  • an identifier;
  • a description;
  • an owner;
  • an expiry date;

Using the template

  1. Download the template;
  2. Define the subject in File-Properties;
  3. Define the attendees list;
  4. Add the agenda items;
  5. Remove the sample open actions, closed actions, and decisions;
