New book review: Practical project initiation

I have just completed a review of the book "Practical Project Initiation" by Karl Wiegers. I think it's a good book, filled with common sense advice with initiating projects. At several places I had DOH! moments because I should have been doing what was being advised, and I saw what happened because I didn't. Things like defining exit criteria for determining when an activity is complete meant that some activities went longer than they should because it was unclear that we'd actually finished.

This book provides good reference material for people who have to initiate projects. It's well worth reading.
